Chapter 2 : Opinion

1) Write 4 expression of....

A). Asking opinion  : What do you think about the singer?

B). Giving opinion  : I think she is a good singer.

C). Agreement  : I agree with you. People should not smoke in public places.

D). Disagreement  : I'm sorry but I disagree with that idea. I think junk food is not good for our health.

2). What do you think of your our head master?give the reason!

I think our headmaster is a good person. He always smiles and reply our greetings whenever we meet. He also give us motivation to study and have a good rest before the exam.

3). Do you agree with the rules of 5 day study at the school?give the reason!

Yes, I agree with the rule. Since a full day school has been implemented, students need to study more and go home around 3-5 o'clock. So, 2 days off can be used for students to have a rest and enjoy their holiday with their family.

4). Write a dialogue about opinion! (asking,giving, agreement, disagreement)

Andi: Do you know who is she?

Dina: She is our new friend. She has just attended this school few days ago.

Andi: What do you think of her?

Dina: I think she is quiet person yet she is kind. She greets me and other students, and today she gives all of her friends chocolates she brought from home

Andi: I don't think she is a good person. When I and my friend greet her, she doesn't even reply and look back at us. She is proud.  

Dina: No, You're mistaken. She always like that towards people whom she doesn't recognize. She will be kind to you if she knows you.

Andi: Yes, you're right. Maybe I should introduce myself to her.

Dina: Of course, you have to. Do you want me to meet her?

Andi: OK.

Chapter 3 : Invitation

1). Write 3 expressions of invitations .

• Let's go now! It's almost ten o'clock.
• Would you like to come to my party?
• I would be very happy if you can spare your time to attend the meeting

2). What is invitations? What is the social function of invitation .

Invitation is a request used to invite someone to attend in a particular event.

• Social function: To invite someone to participate in an event

3). Write a dialogue about invitation to your friend write an invitation card to your friend!

Audi: Hi, Mawar. I have an invitation card for you?

Mawar: Hi, thanks. What is it about?

Audi: I will have a birthday party this weekend. Would you like to come?

Mawar: Really? Wow, I would love to come. What time is it?

Audi: It's around 4 o'clock in the afternoon. You may take a look on the card.

Mawar: Sure, thank's for inviting me.

Audi: You're welcome
